Functional Training

Functional training helps provide you with the strength, stability, power, mobility, endurance and flexibility that you need to thrive as you move through your life and sports. You use basic functional movement patterns like pushing, pulling, hinging, squatting, rotating, carrying walking and running every day. Functional training utilizes exercises that improve your movement proficiency in these primary patterns to give you an edge and enhance your performance so you can achieve your goals safely and with good health.

Weight management


With weight gain or weight loss this program is a balanced design of nutrition and exercise, creates the road to success in reaching a desired target weight using carefully designed exercises to suit each individual.

Body conditioning


A collective set of weight exercises and cardiovascular training designed to improve muscle definition and body shape.

Muscle gain

With the correct lifestyle, nutrition and workouts muscle gain will happen. Training needs to be regular, targeted and encompass good form and full ranges of movement.

Corrective Exercise

Not everyone feels comfortable or confident exercising or embarking on something new and for some people the thought of going into a gym is quite daunting, With this in mind we at FIT PIT thrive on keeping it a family friendly atmosphere to workout in, we will welcome you to train in our private studio where you will receive 1-1 attention. Our aim is to build your self esteem and confidence from day one and all the way through your journey with us, our PIT is your PIT!

Nutrition advice


We will have a chat about your current diet and how we can adjust it by making simple changes along the way to achieve your goals. Exercise alone will not lead to results if you do not take care of your diet. Therefore a combination of diet and exercise is the KEY to success. Remember it is not about a fad diet, it is lifestyle change.

Body composition testing

If your basic objective is to be fit not fat its important you lose unwanted fat and not muscle. Tracking your body composition helps you keep the proportions of muscle and fat within recommended limits.

At FIT PIT we use the hi-tech Bodystat analyser which measures and calculates the following:

  • Body Fat % and Fat Weight
  • Lean Mass % and Body Lean Mass
  • Total Weight
  • Body Water % and Body Water
  • Plus Normal Levels
  • Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)
  • BMR/Body Weight
  • Average Daily Calorie Requirement
  • Body Mass Index – Plus Normal

Prices are £5 for clients and £10 for non-clients. The test itself takes around 10 minutes.
